DJ KAWASAKI released his 4th album on 30th June 2021.
He has been known as a House DJ/Producer but for his new album he wanted to go in a different direction.
He recorded this album in the studio with a live band sound using Japanese musicians and Japanese and overseas vocalists. He wrote and arranged all songs.

In 2018 his started his 7inch label Kawasaki Records. This album includes 3 of those releases, a trio of remixes by DJ KON, Dr.Packer and Danny Krivit.

Vocalists chosen for the album number 3 from Japan and 4 from overseas.
Sauce 81 is most remarkable male vocalist/producer at this time.
He released his singles from Floating Point’s eglo records in 2015 and 2017.
Emi Tawata usually belongs to the J-pop scene in Japan but the tune Into You,
DJ KAWASAKI ft. Emi Tawata got to No.1 on the iTunes House chart in 2008.
This album was their reunion.
Ayana is a young Jazz vocalist debuting in March 2021, she’s also the youngest bar staff of The Room Shibuya (whose owner is Shuya Okino of Kyoto Jazz Massive).
Monday Michiru is a legendary Japanese Jazz vocalist. She has collaborated with many artists such as United Future Organization,DJ Krush,Mondo Grosso,Basement Jaxx and Chris Brann’s P’taah. Maylee Todd is a vocalist based in Toronto, Canada. She released her album from John Kong’s Do Right Music.
Shea Soul contributed to Phil Asher’s restless soul production. She collaborated with ROOT SOUL in Japan. Taliwa is known for her work with Ziggy Funk and Neil Pierce. Kawasaki is introducing her to a Japanese audience for the first time with a strong tune.

This is not a House album.
DJ Kawasaki went back to the roots of House music. His composition is the ultimate hybrid of Disco, Boogie, Funk, Afro and Rock. But it’s also not nostalgic.
His music is a modern version of raw Dance music after the re-edit trend. Especially the instrumental songs on this album are futuristic yet primitive.
